Information Machinable handles
Purchase inquiries. The pricing page displays a form that asks for a name, work email, company, and optional expected monthly drawing volume. When someone submits the form, Machinable sends those fields through Resend to a private Machinable email inbox. Machinable does not create a separate inquiry database record.
Drawing analysis. When someone uses the separate application, Machinable receives the selected PDF, its filename, evidence extracted from the drawing, and the generated result.
Technical data. Hosting providers may process IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, referrer, and diagnostic or security information needed to deliver and protect the service.
How information is used
Machinable uses information to analyze a submitted drawing, return a result, respond to purchase interest, operate and secure the service, diagnose failures, and comply with legal obligations. The current site has no advertising or cross-site tracking code.
How drawing processing works
The marketing website does not upload or process drawings. The separate application sends the selected PDF to Machinable's application server. The server processes the file in request memory and sends the PDF, and sometimes focused image crops, to OpenAI to generate the analysis.
The current application code does not durably save uploaded PDFs or raw model responses in a Machinable database. Its OpenAI Responses API requests set store=false. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models unless the API customer opts in. OpenAI may still retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, or longer when legally required. See OpenAI's API data controls.
Service providers
The current service uses Vercel for the website and application interface, Railway for the application server, OpenAI for drawing analysis, and Resend to deliver purchase-inquiry notifications to Machinable's private email inbox.
Retention
The current Machinable application does not durably store uploaded PDFs or raw model responses. Provider retention for OpenAI is described above. Machinable keeps no separate purchase-inquiry database. A delivered inquiry notification remains in Machinable's private email inbox until Machinable deletes it.
Cookies and tracking
The current website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, optional cookies, or browser storage. Because it does not perform cross-site tracking, browser Do Not Track signals do not change the site's behavior.
Security
The live application uses HTTPS to transmit information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
